Thanks to everyone who came out to Cape Cod Oktoberfest on Saturday 10/1. The weather cleared up nicely and allowed us to have a great event!
Special thanks to the VFW Men’s Auxiliary and the Kiwanis of Central Cape Cod for a great event! The food was fabulous and enjoyed by all! The Cape Cod Brew Crew was out in force and pouring lots and lots of beer!
Special thanks to the CCLAMS homebrew club for helping out at the Oktoberfest games where lots of fun was had and close to $400 was raised ( just on members of the games alone!)! We’re still calculating expenses etc but will get a final number soon!
Oktoberfest Competition Winners:

Men’s Growler Hold: Jesse Kinnane 4 min 5 sec.
Women’s Growler Hold: Viriginia Cummings: 2 min 9 sec.
Hop Guess: Mark Brinkman with a guess of 220. Actual = 247

This is a brand new event ~ and hopefully~ an annual one at that!
When: Saturday October 1st ~ Noon to 5pm
Where: Chatham VFW ~ 150 George Ryder Road, Chatham MA
Cost: $12 if tickets are purchased in ADVANCE. $15 at the door
Admission includes ONE $3 food or beer ticket. Additional tickets available @ $3 each.
Kids under 8 are free!
